Puts to Shame My Last Full Sized Tire Gauge... Completely to Shame
By Tinfoot on 27 Aug. 2015
There are two different models on the same product page, and thus reviews for both. I have the 5-in-1 Tire Gauge.

Compared to my last similar tire gauge, this one by DBPOWER blows it out by far. It is a rather flimsy feeling plastic housing, really noticeable when playing with the window-breaker, but light weight, and that window breaker will at least start a good crack (has a rather sharp pointy tip). Additionally, just LOVE how it tucks away with a lock mechanism. Up to this point, every single tool that had one, including a external power bank, the window-breaker just stuck out. I just figured that was the way it would always be. I find myself definitely preferring the tuck-away... though it doesn't give it a very solid base (hopefully the market competition will correct that down the line).

The little LED flashlight is average, but DUDES, what a concept! I've haven't owned that many tire gauges, and it never occurred to me (so simple in hindsight) what an integrated light can do to help finding the stem at night without having to carry a separate flashlight.

Razor blade for seat belt came rust-spot free, something else I disliked about my last one. The 5-in-One uses two AA (not included).

- Complimentary product provided for evaluation, yet my thinking here reflects all my personal purchasing decision processes, and hopefully may help clarify if this best meets your own needs and expectations.

Good tool to keep in your car, accurate, lightweight & inexpensive
By Lantana Al on 27 Aug. 2015
This is a nice device to keep in your glove compartment. The tire pressure gauge works great and I was surprised how little air escapes the tire when checking the pressure. I also found it plenty accurate. I just used it to check the tire pressure of my car's tires and it turns out they needed a little air as they were a little under what the sticker on the driver's side door jam says (33 PSI for my car). I also compared the readings to another gauge I have used for years and found the readings very close to each other, either exact matches or only 0.5 PSI apart.

The flashlight and red safety lights are nice touches, although don't expect them to be very bright, but they could still be of great help when you don't have anything else available.

The quality of the tool overall is good for the price. The quality won't blow your socks off but you shouldn't expect it to given it's price. I haven't tested this but be careful not to drop it. I'm not sure how many drops it can survive, but if you will be using this often then you may want to get something more rugged, but for occasional and infrequent use it is fine.

Makes a good gift for anyone who owns a car.

Overall 4.5 stars and rounding up to 5.

NOTE: I was sent a free product sample for review. I was not paid or told what to write.

Replaces a lot of tools in your car
By Tony Ha on 27 Aug. 2015
First off, I have totally tossed out the silly analog tire pressure tool which I found to have been very inaccurate (in fact, I usually opted for a bike tire pressure gauge instead of the pen tools). The digital measurement is very accurate and was accurate using two different bike pressure gauges. I also liked how the number is saved when you take it off the tire (something analog tools don't usually do, unless it is the inaccurate pen tool). The seat belt cutter is very sharp, I tested it on an old piece of leather and it cut through it like butter. The LED light on the front is nice if you are trying to measure the tire pressure at night. The top LED is even bright and has a focusing mirror so that it is somewhat of a flood light. It's not great, but It does beat having to have multiple tools with multiple batteries around.
The safety glass breaker is a little harder to aim that the typical glass breaker which is normally located on the tip of a device. The fact that it is mounted on the device similar to a hammer probably gives it more lever strength, but aiming the device becomes a little harder. I probably would opt for more breaking power though.
Overall, I think this is something I will keep around in the car for sure. Please note tha ti was provided a review sample.

An all in one emergency tool
By Grady Harp on 27 Aug. 2015
DBPOWER just keeps making life easier and safer for us with their leading edge products. This 9-in-1 Emergency Tool is not only a tire gage to check the pressure in your tires (car, bicycle, motorbike, etc), it is a flashlight, ‘seat belt cutter (in case of accident and being trapped inside a car), a sturdy window breaker 9again for escape purposes when trapped), scissors, pliers, Philips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver – all those little emergency instruments you never can locate when you need them – in one smartly designed case.

The LED and flashlight are powered by five AG13 1.5-volt button cells already installed (and while the instructions don’t let you know how to get to them, just think for a moment, find the compartment on the side of the device, slide it open and remove the plastic separators between the cells that keep the batteries from wasting energy in transit. Presto, everything works perfectly.

For all those little emergencies that happen on the road or in the home or office, this is the device that centralizes them all. The wise move would be to place one in all three of those locations for ready availability. Highly recommended. Grady Harp, August 15
